A modern household deserves a modern wastewater treatment plant.
It’s economical
Domestic wastewater treatment plants represent a reasonable initial investment and, above all, lower operating costs than septic tanks or sumps. The bacteria in the WWTP clean the water with up to 97% efficiency. The only additional cost is the investment in a sludge pump, which you need for every treatment plant, septic tank or sump. The investment in the sewage treatment plant will return in operating costs roughly within 2 years, and you know that you are purchasing a high-quality, ecological and modern solution.
It saves water
In a dry summer, you are not affected by ordinances banning ornamental gardens and lawns on your property. Treated water can be used to flush the toilet or for other utility purposes (e.g. washing sidewalks and pavements around the house). The water does not leave the landscape – its surplus is absorbed back into the soil, which benefits the microclimate of the garden.
It’s elegant
The WWTP in the garden takes up a minimum of space. The cover is unobtrusive and can fit into the look of any garden. The materials of the wastewater treatment plant are very high quality, therefore you don’t have to worry about damaging it with normal activities in the garden.
Easy maintenance
The unique telemetry system allows you to monitor the status and functionality of your WWTP 24 hours a day. The monitoring software offers the possibility to control the wastewater treatment plant remotely. You are alerted to non-standard conditions immediately. Thanks to telemetry, you also do not need to manually collect and evaluate samples of biological sludge in the WWTP, i.e. perform a sedimentation test – it does it automatically by itself.

What is telemetry and why do you want it?
Telemetry is a technology that enables remote online monitoring and control of domestic wastewater treatment plants. Information on the operational status of the WWTP is transmitted wirelessly to your computer or mobile phone, so you can check its status 24 hours a day from the comfort of your home.
It’s comfortable
You don’t have to open the WWTP manually – you simply check it remotely using an online application that you can use from a computer, mobile phone or tablet.
It’s simple
The application can be used by anyone who knows how to use an internet browser. Thanks to the app, you have a comprehensive and significantly simpler supervision of your WWTP. You don’t need to take sludge samples manually – the system automatically measures its quantity and quality every day at the set time. This way, you know well in advance when the treatment plant will need to pump the excess sludge. The sludge can be used for your ornamental garden or compost for further recycling in nature.
You always have up-to-date data
You can see exactly what’s happening in the treatment plant during the day. The system immediately signals non-standard conditions.
Neighbor doesn’t have it
Supervising a wastewater treatment plant remotely is still far from the standard of today. This is a huge advantage that you will appreciate as soon as you start using your WWTP.

No. The WWTP AT6-20 plus allows the use of common laundry detergents. You are not limited to a specific type of gentle detergents and you do not have to change your washing habits.
If the WWTP is operated correctly, it does not smell at all and you practically do not know about it. As part of the regular service, the WWTP is always cleaned and continues to work fully automatically. The lid of the WWTP is solid and therefore does not attract any bugs, mosquitoes or flies.
You can use your favorite shampoos, laundry and dishwashing detergents without worry. However, you need to understand that it is a biological treatment plant, and it is necessary to approach it sensitively. Although the treatment plant can cope with a larger amount of more aggressive products (e.g. a stronger disinfectant), it would report this situation as a non-standard condition and, in the long term, it could mean damage to the treatment plant’s biological process.
Residues of acids, alkalis, solvents, flammables, medicines, motor oil, leftover food, fruit and vegetables, large quantities of cooking oils, wet wipes and large quantities of sodium hypochlorite detergents must not be discharged into the WWTP.
If you treat the wastewater treatment plant with respect, it will reward you with long-term and stable functionality.
Servicing the AT6-20 plus wastewater treatment plant is not demanding and does not limit you in any way. Twice a year, it is necessary to do the dewatering of the treatment plant, when the necessary amount of sludge is removed with a pump, which you can use, for example, in compost. You will find out when this needs to be done directly in the WWTP’s monitoring software. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the treated water is visually checked at the WWTP.
Service technicians are always available and can deal with non-standard situations. Thanks to the surveillance software, it will not happen that your WWTP “breaks down” and no one knows about it.
The WWPT must always be connected to electricity for proper functionality. Even when you go on vacation, you can’t turn it off. A long-term disconnection from electricity (more than 48 hours) causes a breakdown of the biological process, which cannot be restored by simply turning the WWTP on again. The treatment plant must then be completely drained and biologically restarted.
The treatment plant is designed in such a way that it can easily withstand fluctuations in the operating load; it can even operate without wastewater inflow for up to six months. You just simply select the right operating mode that you need at the moment. By doing this, you can precisely set the one that corresponds to the current hydraulic load.
The treatment plant is designed in such a way that it can withstand fluctuations in the operating load – you just select the operating mode “cottage”. If the WWTP is working properly and has enough biological sludge, it can last up to six months without the inflow of wastewater. Therefore, the treatment plant will survive the winter even without your presence, if you do not turn it off from the electricity. After arriving at the cottage, you simply change the operation mode of the WWTP to match the current load, or you can “wake up” the WWTP remotely before your arrival via the ENCELADUS software application.
When installing the treatment plant, only the WWTP itself and the technology box need to be placed in the soil. Both tanks are covered with unobtrusive lids that blend in with the look of the garden and do not visually interfere in any way. However, it is advisable to leave the vicinity of the treatment plant walkable due to possible service interventions.
Of course, it is necessary to connect the sewage system to the WWTP. Treated water from the WWTP can be accumulated in another underground tank that collects rainwater as well. This creates a permanent source of utility water for its subsequent use in the house and in the garden. Excess water can either be collected on the property or diverted to a local watercourse if such an option is available.
The water in the wastewater treatment plant does not freeze. The tank is made of very durable polypropylene, so there is no risk of it cracking or other problems caused by cold winter temperatures. However, a faster increase in sludge in the WWTP can be expected under the same operating load. That is why we recommend properly desilting the wastewater treatment plant before winter.
Don’t judge a wastewater treatment plant by its lid! On the market, you will come across both expensive and suspiciously cheap treatment plants, which are far from achieving the required efficiency of biological treatment. Don’t be tempted by a low investment at a competitor, which will then have negative impact on operating costs and the frequency of service interventions. Always consider all the “pros and cons” carefully.
Our company has 13 years of experience in the installation of watewater treatment plants throughout the Czech Republic. All treatment plants of the type AT6-20 plus recommended by us are of the highest category III, and thus meet the strictest criteria for discharging wastewater into surface water and underground water (inundation). This category has a high efficiency of nitrification; phosphorus and partial nitrogen are removed using denitrification. The AT plus-type domestic treatment plant can work without a phosphorus precipitator, as it can deal with it in a natural way. In addition, it does not need any additional stage of wastewater treatment, such as a sand filter or UV lamp. You can also use biological sludge from the treatment plant for composting, as it is not hazardous waste.
User comfort during the operation of our treatment plants is ensured by the unique ENCELADUS telemetry system, which makes it possible to supervise and control the WWTP remotely from the comfort of your home. You do not have to manually perform the bimonthly sedimentation tests required by the operating regulations, because it is performed automatically every day by telemetry. All operational data is immediately available, even retrospectively for 365 days. You can check and control the treatment plant from anywhere in the world where you have Internet access – even from vacation.
